I went from a walrus deep six to the Compact deluxe and even though I found the buffer to add alot of high end to my chain, I cannot live without the cali76 compact deluxe. Average velocity with 41.5 grains of IMR-4064 is about 2430. However, with the same charge of AR-Comp I get about 2480.
