Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific). When you are farming Korthia, around world bosses (the world quests ones giving 500 anima) or the assaults, try to group. Realms still matter for guilds, the economy, and mythic raiding. Even if you don't care about mythic raiding, it's best to choose a realm that's very populous for your chosen faction unless you're joining a friend who's on a different sort of realm. You probably want a full or high pop server that is dominated by your faction, which means more active guilds/players/ah for you. The AH commodities (mats, consumables etc) is region wide nowadays. Gear you still want a lot of buyers/sellers I guess. Almost every guild on Khaz has severe rostering issues due to the vast majority of high-level PvE players settling on Frostmourne and Barthilas; prior to the HOF ending and x-realm Mythic raiding opening up each tier, it's a struggle to field 20 people without ...Warmane is not highly regarded here at all. All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways. This concept used to be more strict, but with modern changes introduced in the game players can sometimes interact with players from other realms ( cross realm zones, connected realms, and others). Feb 7, 2022 · It’s really awful to see so many new players getting shoved into these servers that have basically no population. I hate having to explain to a new player why the vast majority of the people they are interacting with are not people they can join a guild with, or aren’t even on their server. Let these tiny realms wither and die and start sending the new players to the big servers. Nothing ... It looks like Dalaran-WoW is going to be launching a fresh WoTLK server and that the original realm, Algalon, will be used as an archive server. Likely with each fresh server release, the old will be merged into Algalon. The new server name appears to be Dalaran. I played on moonguard for a while and the auction prices were way different than they are for me on tich now. Those RP servers have a high demand for cool looking gear. Wyrmrest is the best for rp, if you're horde. Emerald Dream is your best bet for balanced and active. It's been tilting more to horde pretty strongly since BFA and warmode after being nearly perfectly 50/50 during WoD and much of Legion but it's still far better then the other rp servers. It IS however a former Rp-PvP server which means it's roleplay community is not quite what others will be..
